Can we all be super honest with ourselves about what we secretly wish would happen?

Namely, that the heavens would part and the answers to all of life’s biggest questions (particularly, “What am I supposed to be doing?”and “Where do I go from here?”and “What’s my passion?”) would fall into your outstretched hands.

Don’t feel bad. We STILL wish that was the way life worked.

On this episode of the Clarity on Fire podcast, we had a side chat about how to figure out what to do with your life, particularly when you feel stuck and unclear and confused.

We covered:

FREE WORKSHOP ON 6/22/18

Are you kind of tired of yourself?

There’s a certain kind of annoyed you can only get when you’re fed up with yourself — for being stuck, for not having figured out what to do to move forward, and for being afraid of taking risks.

But at the same time, how are you supposed to get unstuck when you don’t know HOW? You’re caught between a rock and a hard place.

We feel you, and we’re doing a FREE online workshop on Friday, June 22nd, 1pm EST especially for you:

3 ways to get unstuck (in your career & life) in record time.

Think of us as expert mechanics — we’ve seen almost every problem there is to see, and we’ve learned a lot about fixing them ALL over the years. We’ve also got our hands on the kind of tools and fuel you haven’t had access to yet.

If you can’t make it to this workshop live, that’s OK! Anyone who registers will be sent a replay afterward.

See you there!

  1. This resonnated so much with me! I immediately felt like jumping out of my seat to give a standing ovation to this side chat! I stumbled accross the Soul Sunday Sessions that Elizabeth Gilbert did about the Hummingbird about a year ago, and immediately thought, “I am completely a Hummingbird.” I always envied my friends who had a carreer path so linear and in the same industry/field their entire life, and here I am trying different industries, company types, etc. Marie Forleo is another who talks about being multi passionate, and about that being perfectly okay, and what to do about it to become more confident in your exploring your curiousities and passions. I love these messages, mainly because it reminds me that I am not the only one who feels this way. I especially loved your notes at the end about the feelings attached: feeling uncomfortable, not confident, guilty or lazy. This podcast was so timely! How much more vibrant and diverse are we and how much more value would we be able to add when we embrace and explore this part of ourselves?! My heart wants to so much to envelop this daily, and this podcast reminds me I am on the right path. (I can’t thank you both enough.)

    1. You’re so welcome, Glasa! I think you summed it up perfectly when you said, “How much more vibrant and diverse are we and how much more value would we be able to add when we embrace and explore this part of ourselves?!” — AMEN!

  2. Hi Rachel, Kristen,

I am feeling so Liberated today. “NOT DO ANYTHING FOREVER” especially when I think about my work.

Being a Hummingbird, through and through, I decided that I wont be continuing the job I am currently in. Just deciding that has made me feel like a WEIGHT has lifted from my shoulders. What I need to do for making that a reality, is something I will be planning on.

I will definitely be picking up Big Magic and read it today itself…coz I’m a book-nerd and Ravenclaw as well 🙂

Will catch you in the workshop this weekend
Cheers!! XoXo for the amazing work you have put in! It is seriosly a Life saver!<3

    1. Hi Ananya! Woohoo, we always love to bond with fellow Ravenclaws! 😉 And we’re so glad that you feel a weight has been lifted — that’s the best feeling (both for you, and us!).

  3. HI! I found myself relating on every level to your client who wants to write but are stuck on the plot. I’ve had multiple stories lined up for the last 10 years that are sitting and stewing because I feel like I can’t move forward until the plot “comes to me”. Definitely going to take some of your advice and hopefully that gets me back on track!
