Full disclosure: Sometimes we write about stuff that we’ve fully mastered … stuff that we’re qualified to turn around and teach to others in the hope that our knowledge will make their journey easier.
Um, this is not one of those times. Sometimes, you’ve got to write about something specifically because you’re struggling with it. So, here goes …

THIS WEEK, WE WANT YOU TO KNOW:
APPLY IT TO YOUR OWN LIFE:
How often do you know in your gut that you have to do something difficult (quit your job, break up with your partner, cut ties with a toxic friend, start a new certification program, go out with this great person that your friend is dying to set you up with, give a speech to hundreds of people) … and therefore avoid it like the plague?
And the avoidance … it eats at you. Slowly, but surely, it makes you feel more and more uncomfortable, until both the prospect of doing it and the prospect of not doing it are unbearable.
We tell you this not because we’re so good at this, but because we need the reminder as much as anyone: You’ve got to do it.
Here’s the thing about doing what seems impossible and unbearable … the Universe rarely takes that kind of bravery for granted. In other words, the reward for having done the unthinkable is often immediate. (Not to mention the sweet relief of finally not having to obsess over it anymore.)
And when you’ve done something you never thought yourself capable of … you’re free. What can’t you do, now that you’ve done this?

WHAT #CLARITYGEMS ARE ALL ABOUT:
Sometimes it’s just better to avoid long blog posts and cut straight to the point!
Think of #ClarityGems as your weekly shake of the good ‘ole Magic 8 Ball … you never know what might bubble up and how it might be exactly what you need to hear today.
And instead of just a beautiful, inspirational, and shareable image (which is a nice start), we’re giving you some quick thoughts about how to interpret it … because inspiration without action is pretty, but kind of anti-climatic.
Tweet it, share it on Instagram, or forward it along to someone who needs to hear it today … and tag us (@ClarityonFire) to let us know how this Gem is inspiring you!
Much Love,
Kristen + Rachel
