There are about a million things, at any given time, that can eat away at your peace of mind.
We have a lot of theories about what it takes to find real inner peace, but for now, how about we keep it simple and share just one way to get there?

THIS WEEK, WE WANT YOU TO KNOW:
APPLY IT TO YOUR OWN LIFE:
I like to think that I’m (hey, Rachel here!) pretty good at confrontation, when need be. I rarely shy away from telling the truth or asking for what I need.
But there have been a few BIG things in life that I have avoided the hell out of … difficult conversations (like quitting jobs and initiating break-ups), putting myself “out there” (in relationships and business), and saying “no” to things that weren’t right for me being some of the stand-out things I’ve avoided.
I know you know what it feels like to be chronically avoiding something. It doesn’t matter how awesome life can be in every other way … if you’ve got something BIG that you know you need to do, but aren’t doing, it will eat away at your inner peace and prevent you from ever fully feeling happy, calm, or at ease.
This week, I finally did the one BIG thing I’d been avoiding for a long time. And as I was driving this morning, it occurred to me … I feel so calm and peaceful because I’m no longer avoiding anything. My mind no longer has that “thing” I was avoiding to latch on and default to. I can just be, without having to worry about what I’m not doing.
So this week, I’m going to challenge you to do the same. Face whatever it is you’re avoiding. It won’t be easy (if it were, why would you be avoiding it?). But you deserve to feel what’s on the other side of that thing you’re avoiding.

WHAT #CLARITYGEMS ARE ALL ABOUT:
Sometimes it’s just better to avoid long blog posts and cut straight to the point!
Think of #ClarityGems as your weekly shake of the good ‘ole Magic 8 Ball … you never know what might bubble up and how it might be exactly what you need to hear today.
And instead of just a beautiful, inspirational, and shareable image (which is a nice start), we’re giving you some quick thoughts about how to interpret it … because inspiration without action is pretty, but kind of anti-climatic.
Tweet it, share it on Instagram, or forward it along to someone who needs to hear it today … and tag us (@ClarityonFire) to let us know how this Gem is inspiring you!
