{A head’s up to all of you who have been thinking about doing the PPVE this time, which will be the last until 2016 … there’s a link at the bottom of this email to get your $50 discount code. It will expire tomorrow, so we wanted to make sure you got it while it was still around. Carry on!}

You can officially record this as the first, but perhaps not the last, time we’ve drawn inspiration for a #ClarityGem from The Princess Bride … which we’re just going to presume you’ve all seen, because really?

THIS WEEK, WE WANT YOU TO KNOW:

Clarity Gem 9-17-15

APPLY IT TO YOUR OWN LIFE:

You know that part in The Princess Bride where Inigo Montoya and Fezzik visit Miracle Max in an attempt to save Westley’s life?

Max pretends not to hear Westley say, “true love” when he asks what was worth dying for, at which point his wife pops up, shriveled finger pointed in accusation, and screams:

Liar! Liar! Liaaaaaar!!!”

Well, we’ve been shouting just like that at our clients recently.

Why? Because so many of them are telling us, “Well, I mean it would be nice for {whatever} to happen. But I’m trying not to get my hopes up. I wouldn’t want to be disappointed.”

After we’re doing shouting “liar!” at them, we go on to say: “Stop pretending you don’t really want it. Because let’s face it, if this doesn’t happen you will be disappointed. No amount of ‘trying to keep your expectations low’ is EVER going to prevent disappointment.”

The price of wanting something badly is the risk of being disappointed. That’s life. Don’t undermine your dream with a fruitless (and downright impossible) attempt at preventing disappointment. It won’t work, and your dream will feel cheapened. Instead, have the guts to relish in the full-out wanting of your desire … it’s the best way to honor your dream.

twitter-birdDon’t pretend you won’t be disappointed if it doesn’t happen. It undermines your dream. #ClarityGems

THE PPVE IS BACK FOR THE LAST TIME IN 2015!

Our popular program … the PPVE (the Passion Plan Virtual Experience) … is open for enrollment now. This is where a LOT of people have gotten their start when it comes to figuring out their passion. It’s …

BIG piece of advice … If you’re on our VIP list, you’ll automatically get a $50 discount code. It takes 2 seconds to join. (The code expires TOMORROWFriday the 18th.)

More than a year ago we asked ourselves, “How can we come up with a process that helps people get un-stuck and figure out their passion in life? Without a shit-ton of time and money necessary?” This program was the answer, and it’s proven it’s worth over and over again.
