It’s a physical impossibility that you’ve never thought, “I feel like I never have enough time.”

Whether it was a one-time lapse or you’re suffering from more chronic “never enough time,” the solution to “How do I make enough time?” is probably not what you’d expect.

Which is exactly why we were motivated to make it this week’s #ClarityGem …

[hr style=”1″ /]

THIS WEEK, WE WANT YOU TO KNOW:

enough time

APPLY IT TO YOUR OWN LIFE:

The even more Millennial version of this is, “You have the same amount of hours in a day as Beyoncé.” (You can even sport this sentiment on a tank top!)

Having enough time for everything in your life isn’t about sleeping less, skipping meals, or becoming rich and famous (like our friend Beyoncé) and being able to hire a bunch of people to do stuff for you so that you can “fit it all in.”

It’s about clarity. In particular, getting clear on what you deeply value and what actions you truly desire to take based on that … not committing to a bunch of things you think you “should” be doing, but that aren’t getting you anywhere.

That means doing fewer busy-work items that don’t matter, learning to say no to people when they ask you to do things you’re not excited about, and having the courage to commit to less so you can be more powerful in a few key areas of life.

twitter-birdLack of clarity = running in place while time ticks by, expecting to get somewhere. #ClarityGems

What will you do (or stop doing) to free up your time?

TELL US HOW YOU TOOK ACTION:

Use #ClarityGems on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook to share how you’re applying this week’s Gem to your own life, and to see how other people are being inspired.

WHAT #CLARITYGEMS ARE ALL ABOUT:

Sometimes it’s just better to avoid long blog posts and cut straight to the point!

Think of #ClarityGems as your weekly shake of the good ‘ole Magic 8 Ball … you never know what might bubble up, and how it might be exactly what you need to hear today.

And instead of just a beautiful, inspirational, and shareable image (which is a nice start), we’re giving you some quick thoughts about how to apply it to your life … because inspiration without action is pretty, but kind of anti-climatic.

Tweet it, share it on Instagram, or forward it along to someone who needs to hear it today … and tag us (@ClarityonFire) to let us know how this Gem applies to you!

Much Love,

Kristen + Rachel

  1. I agree that there is as much free time in a day as you make it. As for me, browsing tumblr takes up way too much of my time! That’s what I’ve got to work on.

  2. I agree with this week’s edition. I confess i dnt have much time for the things i have to do; i’ll be like “am too tired, i dnt have time maybe tomarrow” or i just stop doing it all together. Bt u knw wht?Its nt helping the situation just making it worst so from now on i WILL make time for all thats important. 🙂
