Hello again, friends! I’ve returned with more Forever Alone … but not Season 2 (yet). Instead, I’m here with something special.

Most of what I shared in Season 1 was very thorough. I said exactly what I needed to say, and I have nothing left to add. But there’s one thing I wasn’t able to go into enough depth about, because I had too much to say and my opinions weren’t essential to the story — and that’s what I’m here to dig into now.

So, join in for this bonus chapter in which I don my coaching hat (beribboned bonnet? jaunty fascinator?) and dole out opinions, advice, and general musings on how (and whether) to use dating apps without losing your mind.

As always, I love hearing all of your comments and reactions, so after you’ve listened, leave a comment here or DM me on the Forever Alone site.

Much Love,

If you have no idea what I’m talking about, never fear! Forever Alone: One millennial’s half-agonizing, half-hopeful journey through singledom is my 7-part miniseries podcast I released back in August.

Yes, it chronicles my seemingly never-ending experience as a single person, but it’s about so much more than that. Give it a listen if you really want something and can’t, for the life of you, figure out how to get it.

If you haven’t listened to Chapter 1, you can go back and start here, since these are meant to be listened to in order. I’d also be thrilled if you left a 5-star rating and review, wherever you listen!

As always, you can find Forever Alone on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher, Google Play, Amazon, and YouTube, among other places you listen to podcasts.

  1. I truly loved this series- everything about it- the masterpiece theater vibe of the music, the poetic way Rachel writes and recites each one, AND the content. I absolutely loved her honesty and her description of her journey through all the lessons she learned, how she pushed through fear, major anxiety and depression. I absolutely LOVED the idea of creating your own panel of healthy-masculine men and asking them advice! And the advice she was given that struck me- that perhaps she hadn’t been truly ready all that time- wow. I teared up a little during the inner child healing part and was inspired enough to pause the episode to do a little healing of my own inner child. I found myself completely nodding in agreement about how to be discerning, that “Italy” was a bit a of a numbskull answer, and what “I want someone who’s chill but also down for an adventure” truly translates to (insert huge eyeroll). It also gave me major validation that I am allowed to want what I want, and that dating apps don’t HAVE to be used. You are a strong, inspiring soul, Rachel!

Thank you so much for sharing your journey! Loved this whole series! Excited for season 2!
