Welcome to another episode of Dear Krachel, our monthly advice segment where we answer listener questions about life, career, relationships, existential angst, and anything that helps you become a more whole, fulfilled version of yourself.
This month we answered questions from:
- Andrea, an artist who’s been working in her field for 4 years. She’s struggling to enjoy her job because her work isn’t as good as other, more senior artists. Does she need to be good at her job to enjoy it? Or is the lack of enjoyment a sign she’s on the wrong path?
- Bailey, who’s made an admirable effort to “stop going to the hardware store for milk” — AKA, she’s not trying to get emotional support from people who can’t meet her needs. But where CAN she go to get the support she craves, when there’s nothing but proverbial hardware stores everywhere?
- Ready to Rebel, a Firestarter/Thriver combo who’s struggling to balance her conflicting Passion Profiles. She deeply craves freedom BUT has a crippling fear of losing stability. How can she somehow find both?

I just love listening to Dear Krachel podcasts. It seems like I can always identify with one of the stories. So, after listening to them for years I decided it was time to get off the side lines and get in the game. I was at a low point in my career and personal life and what I was trying to do to make things better wasn’t working. I am currently in coaching with Rachel and I look forward to our sessions. She’s patient and a great listener and this allows me to be myself and open on our calls. I find myself ending most of our calls now telling Rachel how much I appreciate her and that I don’t think I’ve could’ve gotten through this rough patch without her. So if you’re wondering if this is for you… it probably is 🙂
Aww, thank you, Kim! Coaching with you is always a pleasure! 😊
I just finished listening to the full episode and heard “Ready to Rebel”. Once again you nailed it for me! I retook the passion profile and I’m a Firestarter (again) but I do have Thriver tendencies. My problem is fear and getting out there with my Real Estate business. I activated my real estate agent license on 4/30/22 but I haven’t done anything with them. This has put a fire under me to get started (no pun intended) 🙂
Glad to hear that fire is lit, Kim! And let’s definitely talk about this more next time. 😉
