Honing your intuition is one of the most important parts of getting clear on who you are, what you want, and where you’re headed. Without it, you’re like a GPS with bad reception — you’re not going to get very clear guidance, and you may end up driving in circles.
But that takes time and practice, so sometimes it’s nice to piggyback off of another GPS you can trust, even if it’s just long enough to check your directions.
In that spirit, we’re back with another Message from the Universe episode for you! Tune in if you need a little clarity, guidance, or just a fun pick-me-up.
Today we pulled a few cards from The Enchanted Map deck by Colette Baron-Reid. One or all has a message for you — come find out what it is!
We also started out this episode with some fun stories we’ve heard lately from clients about how the Universe showed up for them. Here are the cards we pulled for you, along with their descriptions:
Sacred Pool:
“The world is a reflection of your thoughts, feelings, and beliefs. Embody the love you wish to see in the world.”
When you look into the mirror, do you like what you see? The Sacred Pool card asks that you focus on self-love and self-esteem. We are all works in progress, so a detached self-examination made with rigorous honesty is called for now.
Reflect by the Sacred Pool and be at peace with yourself. Can you see how far you’ve come and how magical your life is? Do you notice the spark of the Divine shining through your eyes? When you’re conscious that you’re the embodiment of Spirit, it becomes easier to respect yourself and act in good conscience … then you’ll reap the greatest rewards.
Your unique service to the world is not only needed but celebrated. See the love within you, and know that if you cast it upon the waters, it will return to you tenfold. Be at peace, for you are beautiful and loved. Act with surety and confidence, and success shall be yours––whatever your inquiry.
Listening:
“An open heart will hear the message.”
When this card appears, you’re being reminded that there is a time to speak and a time to be silent. Now is an occasion for listening. Pay attention not only to what is being spoken, but also to what is not being said at the moment, for the deeper message is not always obvious. Listen with your heart, not just your ears, and you’ll find clarity. Receiving the Listening card is a fortunate sign and ensures a greater understanding of your circumstances.
Magic Prayer:
“Speak your prayers, listen for the answers, act in faith.”
“When you see the Magic Prayer card, it is a reminder that your prayers will be answered. Spirit is always waiting to help you––and to heal you––when you’re in need. That said, the best prayer is: ‘Thy will be done through me; thy will and not mine be done.’
Conscious contact with your higher power is achieved through the ritual of prayer and meditation. Speak and listen to the Divine force within the field of creation. Surrender your wishes and desires to Spirit. You may not get what you want, but you will surely get what you need. Your destiny awaits you. As long as you keep in conscious contact with your higher power, be assured that you are on the right path.

I always look forward to Friday’s to hear Rachel and Kristen’s podcast and this episode did not disappoint. I am a Christian and would say I have I have a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, but I also enjoy reading Outrageous Openness. Rachel assigned this is part of my homework I believe to open my eyes to see how things always work out. Maybe not how you expected but they do. This book gave me tangible and current day examples of what outrageous things can occur when we open ourselves up to other possibilities.
It’s so interesting how the three cards pulled are already resonating and showing up. The pastor spoke in church today about Distractions; what they are and how to deal with them. One of the things he asked us to do was sit silent for 10 seconds and allow ourselves time to be still instead of always having to fill our time doing something.
I’m getting better with listening to my heart and also paying attention to things people don’t say as much as what they do say because I’ve learned what’s not said tells you just as a much.
